"
I have hunted with men from all over the country who bring high end dogs with them that are real specimens don’t get me wrong, but they are confused by these wild running birds. Your two pups here are already mentally outperforming 3-6 year old, fairly experienced GSP’s and English Pointers, so yes they are little smarties!
I couldn’t be happier especially at my age and after having a few dogs in the past, the concern would be a couple of mediocre dogs in my final Chukar years. Instead, like I tell everyone, if these dogs were never to improve beyond this first season, I would be thrilled to have them for the next 8 years....and you and I both know that isn’t going to be the case!
My wife and I love them around the house for their great personalities and you can imagine how much I love them after shooting 60 plus birds already over a couple of 1 year olds!" John R. from Idaho
Our Team
I'm a Cal Poly (SLO) graduate in Animal Science. I've devoted hundreds of hours incorporating genetic testing into our advanced breeding and selection program. For the last 20 years these beautiful setters have been my life. Won't trade it for anything.
Brian spent five years in the US Marine Corp in two combat zones with a black Lab search dog (Petey). They're both in this combat photo in Afghanistan
Ivory Webb is our puppy gal, taking care of puppies and also minor vet procedures. Her love of these setters makes her socialization of them a pleasure.
Hunter is the owner of two Jornada setters and helps us with training when not playing baseball at NMSU.
